  • Very nice photo! My uncles bought an 1855 gas in March of 1973. It was their big field-work tractor for many years, until retirement. Pulled an Oliver 5-18 plow and a big field cultivator in the Red River Valley of MN. Thanks for sharing the photo. Fun to see.

  • According to the Editor, of what killed Oliver,the 1855 was the one, with their small oil capacity, in the crankcase, it starved oil to the No 1 or No 6 main bearings.
